October 15

Today I'm remembering six little ones that never got to live outside of my body. They were a part of me then and are still a part of me now in some way. I had hopes and dreams for each individual one and my life is not the same without them in it.

My heart goes out to all of you who have suffered the loss of a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death. For more information about this awareness/remembrance day, visit the website above.

Thanks for this post, Stacey. I wandered here from SCL today and I have a friend who lost a baby just this week. I will pass the website on to her.

Hi Stacey. I appreciate the few posts of yours I have just now read. My friend Beth, the one who commented above, sent me this link. I just experienced my second miscarriage of the year this week. There are many thoughts in my head now, as you can imagine.
I didn't even know about Oct. 15th. Funny, I guess. I would have been due Oct. 19th, in just a few days, with my last pregnancy, and now have just miscarried one due in May. We have a beautiful little girl who is almost 3, but my desire to make her a big sister is great.
Anyway, I look forward to reading more of your blog. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I'm realizing what personal thoughts they are to share.
