About Me
- Stacey
- I’m 38 years old and I’ve been happily married to my husband (known on this blog as "Chuck") since 1998. I was born and raised in my dear home state of Louisiana and have lived in Texas since 2001, the year we started trying to have a baby. This blog is about what my life has been like living with infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss for nearly a decade. My faith has played a big part in helping me get through six first-trimester miscarriages. Our seventh pregnancy finally brought us our miracle girl in September 2010. Our second precious gift, another daughter, arrived in November 2012.

Dear Lily Rae,
You will no doubt know this from a very early age, but your mom and dad have been waiting for you for a very long time. There have been tears shed over the loss of many (far too many) of your heavenly brothers and sisters whose lives before you were far too short. There were prayers of doubt and desperation and many hopeless nights. In all of this though, your parents held on to hope that through their love, and their trust in God, something beautiful would come. And now you are here- and there is a world of bloggers- friends and strangers alike- that are celebrating your arrival.
You have a very special mom, Lily Rae, that inspite of her many losses, has been an incredible source of strength and comfort to the many other women who are also holding on to hope as well- hoping for something beautiful as well.
Prayers of thanksgiving have been said every day since you were born in our house, Lily Rae-
